Infinite Singularity
“Infinite Singularity has crafted an undeniably atmospheric listening experience, one that blends gothic synth textures, deeply poignant themes, gritty guitar work, and melody-infused lead elements, resulting in a raw-sounding, grounded, and unapologetically hard-hitting exploration into the heart of the human experience.”

Infinite Singularity is a solo project from a shed in the north woods of Minnesota created by reclusive veteran singer/songwriter Lukas Szrot. Building on an extensive history and back catalog, Infinite Singularity released a new single, “Silence, Broken,” on October 27, 2023, a stripped-down, up-tempo post-punk track that has gained momentum—and has been followed by four more singles since.
Though crafting a sound that reflects influences such as Type O Negative, Nine Inch Nails, and Nick Cave, Infinite Singularity has developed a distinctive soundscape, featuring an understated, almost danceable rhythm section, bleak but dynamic guitar work, and eerie synth passages that foreground Szrot’s brooding voice.
Prominent themes include nature, love and loss, grief, the siren song of madness, and the search for enduring meaning in a seemingly indifferent cosmos.
An avid hiker and nature photographer, releases feature original snapshots taken by Szrot on his long and frequent walks through the north woods of Minnesota during all four seasons of the year.
